Nippon Oil Exploration Limited and Japan Energy Development Co., Ltd. merged to form JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corporation
Established "JX Nakajo Forest" in Tainai City, Niigata Prefecture, and began forest volunteer activities
Vietnam: Successfully executed a CO2-EOR pilot test at the offshore Rang Dong Oil Field.
Received all issued shares of a new subsidiary set up by Arabian Oil Company, Ltd. (currently JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Technical Services Corporation)
USA: Commenced the Petra Nova CCUS project
Papua New Guinea: Commenced LNG exports from the "PNG LNG Project"
Vietnam: Achieved total production of 200 million barrels at Block 15-2
USA: "Petra Nova CCUS project (USA)" (West Ranch Oil Field) commenced production
Malaysia: Production commenced at the Layang Oil and Gas Field offshore of Sarawak
USA: Achieved total CO2 recovery of 1 million short tons at the Petra Nova CCUS project
Indonesia: Concluded a memorandum for joint study/joint business that includes all upstream undertakings, including CO2-EOR, with PT Pertamina, Indonesia's national oil company
USA: Achieved total CO2 recovery of 2 million short tons at the Petra Nova CCUS project
UK: Production commenced at the Mariner Oil Field and Culzean Gas Field
USA: Achieved total CO2 recovery of 3 million short tons at the Petra Nova CCUS project
Malaysia: Concluded a joint study agreement with PETRONAS, Malaysia's national oil company
JXTG Group changed its name to ENEOS Group
Established "Nakajo Open-innovation Lab : NOiL"
Established "West Japan Carbon dioxide Storage Survey Co., Ltd" for feasibility study of domestic CCS storage projects
Acquisition of all Shares of Japan Drilling Co., Ltd. (JDC)
Papua New Guinea: Acquisition of Participating Interest in "Papua LNG Project"
Indonesia: Started commercial operation of LNG produced by Train 3
JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corporation changed its name to ENEOS Xplora Inc.
